1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
3. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
4. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
5. Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup, butter, and additional blueberries if desired.
